Aviator Night Vision
Goggle Loan Program
Nightline understands the importance of the right equipment at the right time. Airborne Law Enforcement, Medical Transport
and Fire Fighting teams rely on Aviator’s Night Vision Goggles to provide them with greater situational awareness and visibility
during night operations.
In an effort to keep pilots flying at night, Nightline has in place a Night Vision Goggle Loan program. Nightline model NL949B™
Aviator’s Goggles are available for use while our customer’s systems are undergoing their 180 day checks, routine service or
Organizations without spare systems can often be forced to fly without a full complement of night vision while their goggles are
undergoing preventative maintenance checks and services. Nightline has created their no cost equipment loan program to ensure that organizations always have the equipment they need to complete their night operations.
To utilize the night vision loan program, the customer simply has to contact Nightline to schedule their service. The NL949B™’s are sent to the customer in advance and are returned to Nightline after their systems have been returned to service. During the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recommended 180 day check, goggles are evaluated, calibrated, collimated, leak tested, nitrogen purged, and a system gain test is performed. As system gain performance will decrease over time, these checks are crucial to ensure proper function of the equipment while in flight.
As one of a small number of night vision manufacturer’s to receive an FAA Repair Station certificate, Nightline can perform any necessary repairs, replacement and equipment upgrades utilizing in-stock components by our experienced assembly and repair staff.
